Testimonials

See what past attendees have to say about our Leadership Forums:

“The trainers were very knowledgeable and had a lot of real-life experience. It was a very personal experience getting to hear their life experiences. I was able to connect with tribal leaders and representatives from the other tribes. I was nervous attending as I didn’t know how formal of an event it was, but I felt very comfortable by the end of the first day. And the boat ride was a great experience to top everything off.”
-Patrick Lamoureux, Tribal Council Representative District 1, Ponca Tribe of Nebraska

“The speakers are amazing, especially Jim Stroker and his ability to motivate people and his enthusiasm are unmatched. It was really important for me to be able to network with people of similar background who are working in all different fields of work but many within native owned companies or corporations. Thank you for such an amazing opportunity.”
-Cara L Buie, Escrow Assistant, Sitnasuak Native Corporation

“It was great to network and interact with other Tribal Leadership. I had a great time and I’m looking forward to attending future training and conferences.”
-Sergio Trevino, Director, Tribal Employment Rights Commission, Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas

“This training is great for personal development.”
-Laura Ball, Operations Manager, United Auburn Indian Community

“It is always enlightening to see how other organizations handle conflict and diversity. I have attended several trainings and this one was very beneficial.”
-Charlotte Meckel, Tribal Council Secretary, Poarch Band Creek Indians

“A good training for leaders with experience to polish their skills and think outside the box.”
-Chris Mimmack, Director of Department of Justice, Southern Ute Department of Justice

“I recommend Native Nations leadership training because they assist from many angles such as leadership skills, leadership strategies, communications, networking and so forth. The trainers are professional, knowledgeable people who know their stuff. Thank you for a great training. I definitely learned a bit more about leadership. It is good to meet and talk to people from all walks of life. They all have wisdom, advice and knowledge to share.”
-Ray Ann Terry, Board Secretary, Sage Memorial Hospital

“This forum brought some of the best people together and was very motivating working with these types of Leaders! Informative training!”
-Viola Yatchmeneff, Finance Director, Aleutian Housing Authority

“Great meeting with other tribes from across country and Canada. Good job.”
-Darren Daboda, Chairman, Moapa Band of Paiutes
